Rose Colins Fresh
Rose Collins Fresh grew up in a loving home. Her mother Minty Julep Fresh was a Scientist who although was very focused in her career, was a fun mother. She was also a massive prankster, so Rose and her siblings grew up playing pranks on each other.
Rose and older brother, Crimson
When her mother married Taku Akiyama, young Rose and young Crimson, fell in love with their new dad. Although she had a very close relationship with her own father, Taku became a real dad, instead of just her step dad. And they remained close until his death.
Rose grew up being a social butterfly and a massive flirt. After forming a club so she could meet other kids, the club evolve from a study group into lifelong friendships.
Christian Flex and Rose at the Club
Minty and Taku built an extension in the house so the kids could host club meetings. It was there that Rose first laid eyes on Christian Flex, who would eventually be her first boyfriend.Unfortunately, Christian and Rose's relationship lasted only a few days during the summer, and afterwards he mysteriously disappeared from the study group.
Vicente and Rose
Rose had tons of friends, but Vicente was her bestie since they were children. He eventually confessed his feelings for her, but Rose ghosted him, and instead dated Noe Behr.
Noe Behr
It is said that Noe never got over her, and his last dying words were: I curse you Rose Fresh.
Bowie Carver Fresh
Rose decided to continue dating, and raise the baby by herself. However, her mother Minty, knowing that her daughter lacked the proper maternal touch, moved in with her and little Bowie, and practically raised him until he aged up to a child.
Days after this, Minty passed away at home with her beloved husband Taku, and their children, Poppy and Rusty by her side.
The love of her life, Kiyoshi Ito
Rose and Kiyoshi met during the Festival of Light at Senbamachi. The attraction was instant, and though Rose was taking a break from dating, she couldn't resist him. To complicate matters for the young adult Rose, Kiyoshi was a married man with three children. She tried hard to resist him but eventually, when Kiyoshi confessed that he couldn't stop thinking about her, she gave in.
Even though Kiyoshi was married and had children and she knew that it was wrong, theirs was a strong relationship, based on mutual respect and love. Their love affair lasted until his death.
After Kiyoshi's passing, Rose leaned a lot on her parents. Minty was not pleased about her daughter's liaison with a married man, but Laurent fully supported his daughter, and was there for her, at all hours, dropping by unexpectedly whenever she needed him the most.
Laurent encouraged Rose to get in touch with old friend, Phoenix Arriaga. He'd been one of the original club members, and had grown up next to Rose. He'd never shown any interest in her growing up, but he'd always been a good friend. Laurent gave him Rose number, and when Phoenix rang her up, she agreed to meet him, even though she wasn't looking for a relationship, of any kind.
Rose and Phoenix
Phoenix Arriaga, the last love
Phoenix met up with Rose, thinking that they were just going to talk about old times, and move on. He'd just gotten divorced from his College Sweetheart, and had twin toddlers. He had made certain that Rose understood that he wasn't looking for a hook up.
However, once he and Rose started talking, the attraction he'd felt since he was an awkward Teen boy kicked in, and all he could think about was Rose. Luckily, this time around, Rose felt the same way, and after Rose's son aged into a Teenager, Phoenix moved in.
Rose and Bowie
Phoenix tried hard to have a good relationship with Bowie, but the first couple of days, Bowie seemed to be working on a damn rocket ship every waking free second of the day. Phoenix instead doted on Rose's three dogs, who had a closer relationship to her than Bowie.
Eventually, when Bowie became friendly with Phoenix, he understood that Bowie had been mourning his dear Grandmama, and that the relationship with Rose was non existent. It was then Phoenix's job to help the pair patch up things.
And when Phoenix and Rose finally married, it was Bowie who stood proudly beside them, taking pictures.
Phoenix and Rose
The Twilight Years
Rose lost Phoenix a few days after their wedding. She was fortunately not alone, as Phoenix's kids from his first marriage had moved in with them. She also had adopted a dog, Jim, with Phoenix, after her three pooches passed away. All that was left after having achieved being President of the Sim world was to patch things up with Bowie, even further. It didn't matter that they were on good terms, but she wanted to be a good mother, even if it was for a few days.
Rose's Last Christmas, photo by Bowie Carver Fresh
Rose traveled from Willow Creek to Oasis Spring, to meet up with her son and spend a few more days together. Later, when Bowie could take time off for Christmas, he returned to Willow Creek with his fiancee, to spend the last of Rose's days with her.
