Orange Generation Sunset Alani Fresh
Sunset was born a few months after her parents' marriage. At first it was very hard for her mother to bond with her, as she didn't want to have children straight away. Most of the care for the little baby was done by her father, Matthew, who thought Amethyst just needed a bit of time to get used to it.
However as she started to grow, things got more difficult between Matthew and Amethyst. And in the end, he gave her an ultimatum. This resulted in Amethyst taking her cat, Juniper with her, and moving out of the house. After their divorce, Grisfils and Masumi spent more time at the house with Matthew and Sunset, than with Amethyst who simply refused to see them. To make sure that there was enough distance, she moved to Del Sol Valley.
Grisfils wasn't retired yet, but he acted as a carer for tiny Sunset, who had him completely wrapped around her little fingers. He would take her wth him on his away games, and make sure that everyone knew that she was his first grandchild and the apple of his eye, just like her mother had been. In the end, Grisfils acted as a meddling matchmaker, bringing his daughter and Matthew back together again.
Once her mother moved back to the house, Sunset dug in her heels and made sure that she knew that this wasn't the Amethyst show, but the Matthew and Sunset one. Her closeness to Matthew and Grisfils made her a self assured child, who wasn't afraid to give her mother a piece of her mind.
Even though there's an age gap, Sunset and Clementine have been thick as thieves, since Clementine's birth. Sunset was always the first one in Clementine's bedroom, when she woke up in the morning, and the last one to leave her room, most of the time scolded by Matthew, to let her younger sister sleep.
And as the girls grew up, more people mistook them for twins, and not just regular siblings. Matthew and Amethyst took the girls on vacation several times a year to Mt Komerobi, Granite Falls and other places. Always spending time together was the most important thing for their little family of four.
Things were going well for the family, until Sunset developed feelings for a second cousin, Westley Topasna. Greycia's son. Of course Amethyst was against the union, since Westly was not only considerably older than Sunset, who was barely eighteen, but was a close cousin, with whom Amethyst had grown up.
Matthew considered that Sunset was old enough to make up her own mind about who to date, but Amethyst was so upset, she forbade Sunset from seeing Westley. In the end, Sunset ran off to San Myshuno with Westley. They rented a small TLC apartment, and lived together for a number of years, before Westley popped the question.
Sunset let Matthew know that she was marrying Westley and that they could be involved in the wedding or not. Of course, her father played mediator between her and her mother, so that the whole family would come together for the wedding.
Westley and Sunset wore matching traditional clothes for their wedding, but sometime after they exchanged their vows, Westley assaulted Sunset in order to steal money from her. Needless to say, Sunset dumped him that same night and ran away from the apartment. She moved in with a few of her college friends who lived in a run down house, and once she graduated and started work, she used the money she'd saved, plus the money Grisfils and Masumi had left her in their wills to buy her house in Windenburg.
While she nursed a broken heart, her sister Clementine started dating Rusty Topasna, Westley's younger brother, much to Amethyst's displeasure, but at least, she handle this relationship better than she did with Sunset's relationship. Also Matthew and Amethyst were more preoccupied with a new pregnancy, as she was older, and high risk. To ease things up for Amethyst, Matthew gave some money to Sunset, in order to help her get on her feet as it looked as things with Westley were only going to get worse.
Sunset began to date a bit more often, and later on, she fell in love with Kayden Fresh, another distant cousin (because it seems that I've reached that stage where everyone left in the world is related to my sims lol) Kayden moved in with her, but their money pooled together wasn't enough to keep up the rather large three bedroom three bathroom house. After her father passed away, a heart-broken Sunset, abandoned her hopes of becoming a CEO of her own fashion stores, and turned to a life of crime.
She and Kayden moved to a very run down house on the other end of Winderburg, and soon enough Sunset was expecting twins. Her relationship with her family had fractured even more after her father passed away and she found out that her mother was expecting a fourth child, who unfortunately was born after Matthew's passing.
Sunset tried to make amends and hang out with the family, but it was clear that she was forever the black sheep of the family. However, she didn't show anyone that this hurt her a lot. She tried to be there for her brothers and get to know them.
After Sunset and Kayden welcomed Kamal and Orchid, Amethyst tried harder to be there, and repair the relationship. She simply adored her grandchildren, and even though she'd given up on advising her wayward daughter, she moved in with them, when Kayden went to jail.
Luckily for Sunset, her mother had been there for her. A few years later, Amethyst presence was the only thing that kept Sunset going. When Kayden was killed in a car accident as he ran away from the cops, Amethyst was the only family member who came over to the wake.
And when Sunset wound up in jail, Amethyst took care of the twins, creating an even stronger bond. Clementine also came around, to take care of her niece and nephew, but only because her sister wasn't around. Years earlier, the two sisters had a falling out when Sunset tried to seduce her sister's groom at their wedding.
Clementine never forgave her sister, though she worked hard at having a good relationship with her niece and nephew.
Sunset began a circle of getting caught by the caughts, serving time, getting sent home from jail. As the twins began to see how frail their grandmother was becoming, they started to understand that the somewhat normal family they'd experience would vanish soon.
Sunset became so notorious as an evil mastermind, that even if her kids didn't believe her, she started getting fans. However, she wanted more. She quit her job as a boss, and started dealing drugs, and expanding into turning her home into a escort center. Even if the place was run down she could charge the girls a fee, for them using her bedroom.
Although she promised her mother she would go to rehab, Sunset didn't really want to get clean. She fought with her kids all the time, and eventually Kamal knocked up his girlfriend Tricia Schmitt, Violet's grand child, and moved out with the money that he'd received from Amethyst and Matthew. He begged Orchid to leave with them, but Orchid thought someone should stick around and take care of their mother.
Unfortunately, Sunset only got worse, using more drugs, and taking bigger risks. One night, when Orchid was at the library studying with her tutor at the college library, Sunset received Orchid's boyfriend, Ryland. Without thinking it twice, she seduced the college student, and slept with him. Orchid walked in on them, and after yelling at them and declairing her mother her enemy, she picked up her kitten, Lorelai, and the few things she owned, and ran away from home.
Sunset lived out the rest of her days married to Ryland, without a single word from Orchid. The only news she would receive from time to time were through Tricia and Kamal, who would bring their son Ocean to see her, every few months. They never went inside the house, stopping by the house long enough to say hello then leave. And although Orchid never hang up on her mother, Sunset's called were more like pulling teeth, than anything else.
A few years later, Orchid at Kamal's request, decided to host a birthday party for Sunset, as she was finally aging up. Orchid made sure to track everyone who was a part of the family, and some of Sunset's old friends. She hired a cater, and made sure that her house in Sulani was beautifully decorated. As Kamal had told her, it was time to let bygones be bygones, and forgive their mother. After all, she'd not been an abusive parent. She'd loved them immensely, he said, to which Orchid replied; but she loved drugs more. Still she was looking forward to seeing her mother. Orchid waited with the guests for hours, until the cops arrived with the news that Sunset and Ryland had been killed during a drug bust.
