Current WIP: Under the Norman Sky

For a few years now, I've been thinking about this story. However, for a long time, I thought I couldn't write this book.

You see, it's not that I can't, but my memories of Normandy are so fresh in my mind, it's almost as if I close my eyes, and I can see myself in the Mont St. Michel. And when that happens, it feels like the Mont St. Michel is my own little place, and I don't want to share it with the world. Only I do want to share it with the world.

I owe Normandy a lot.

My husband's family is from Normandy, even though he was born near Paris. My youngest, my rainbow baby, was born in Caen. And after we relocated to Normandy from Paris, I finally found my groove in France. Normandy was everything I came to love about France, and the thing I loved the most, after my family, was the Mont St. Michel.

So it's probably not surprising that it'll feature heavily in my book and feel like another character.

I'm sharing my playlist for now, as this book will come out at the end of the year.
